The roots of North Pow
Hi, I’m Elin, the founder of North Pow.
I was raised close to nature, shaped by my Sámi heritage and a lifestyle where responsibility, respect and practical knowledge are a natural part of everyday life. Growing up around animals, land and shifting seasons has taught me calmness, resilience and a deep understanding of the Arctic environment.
I value honesty, safety and genuine connection. I prefer small groups, real encounters and guiding that is personal rather than commercial. My approach comes from lived experience, from a life spent outdoors where you learn to read the land and trust your instincts.
Our goals
At North Pow, our goal is simple: to share the Arctic in a way that honors the land, the wildlife, and the culture that has shaped us.
We come from a place where nature is not a backdrop - it is home. Every mountain, every trail, every shift of light carries knowledge passed down through generations.
With roots in Sámi culture and a life lived close to the land, we guide our guests with respect, awareness, and a deep understanding of how nature should be treated.
Our mission is to offer outdoor adventures that are genuine, safe, and meaningful, to give people of all backgrounds the chance to feel the freedom of the Arctic, learn from its rhythms, and connect with nature in a way that lasts long after the tour is over.
